How this works
I was chatting to someone I was treating this week about Christmas. He really isn’t looking forward to it this year as it will be his first without his family due to divorce.
The build up to Christmas can be tough for a lot of people, but one thing he told me brought home to me how we help our Tribe.
He said with his new found love for health and exercise, the positivity he receives from everyone @Tribe and from following a regime he really enjoys, it won’t be nearly as hard as he thought it would be.
You see, once you start looking after your health and well being, investing in yourself, funny things happen. And the really peculiar thing is, they are all connected…
1. Perhaps the first, and biggest shift, is in your mental health. You start to feel better about things… everything!
2. Problems that once seemed insurmountable become much smaller.
3. You eat better -you will just make better food choices often without even noticing once you start exercising.
4. You sleep better - because you are physically tired, and eating better.
5. You have more energy, because you are fitter, are sleeping better, are eating better food.
6. You tackle things you have been avoiding and get them done because you feel ready to do so, because you have a positive mental attitude, because you have more energy, because you are fitter, because you are sleeping better, because you are eating better….

Goals do not have to be tied to a calendar year, but it’s always helpful to have some sort of timeline and the calendar year is an easy one to work with.
No deadline, ain’t gonna happen!
I encourage you to pick something that you want to accomplish before the end of the year and start working towards it. I promise, you’ll be glad you did.
