Guess Who or Computer Battleships

I used to love playing both these.

With Guess Who you quickly learnt to ask the questions that enabled you to flip down the most irrelevant characters as fast as possible and discover the identity of your opponent.

Battleships was a little different. It took much longer to ascertain your opponents’ positions, and slowly and methodically sink them!

Working out can be a bit like these two games.

You either methodically plod along, trying random exercises in random order and see what happens, (hoping you remember what worked if you haven’t written every workout down)….Battleships

Or, you find out what needs to be done, and then get it done….Guess Who?

At Tribe we have a system. A bit like Guess Who (only based in science!).

We get to know every Tribe member personally. We even get to know your preferred protein shake flavour.

This starts with a movement screen that tells us the best exercises for you to do, and the ones you should not do so as you do not get injured, or make existing conditions worse. (first flip down of irrelevant characters).

We also offer a body scan, that provides a range of measurements, and this lets us know if your training and your nutrition is working for you. (next flip down of irrelevant characters).

So before your very first session we already know quite a bit about you.

This also enables us to train you, from the start, doing what is right for you. And also lets us know if what you are doing is working.

You then start a scientifically proven program, designed by some of the top minds in the industry (remaining cards flipped!).

We know who you are!

This is personal training, and how ANY program should start, whether you are new to exercise or a seasoned campaigner.

Exercise without assessment is like Battleships, a bunch of random exercises put together in an anyhow order.

You would not allow your children to go to a school that operated in such a way, in fact it would be closed down, if ever allowed to open.

Imagine the school day:

“Right children, we are going to do some Trigonometry.

“We did that two years ago….

“Teh, rrr, i,geh……

Hmmmmm! That aint gonna work out too well!

So before you start any exercise regime, make sure you flip down the irrelevant characters! Make sure your trainer/gym is a good match for you, doing what you personally need.
